SOP-2 NAS Lemoore Runway Usage

 

Runway Use:

    In order to make the best use of the configuration of runways and taxiways at KNLC, the departing and arriving runway in use will be determined by wind direction as follows:

Wind Direction(Magnetic) Departure Runway Arrival Runway
231*-050*  32L 32R
051*-230* 14L 14R

 

Departure Routes:

    Departure routes provide a repeatable and predictable path to be followed for ATC control and for the departure of formation flights, and should be used as a part of operations planning. The departure route to be used is selected based on the departure runway and the general direction of the flight. The real world departure plates FLEET-NINE and RAG-NINE are used, and are available on the main Operations page.

 

Arrival Routes:

    Arrival routes, similarly, provide predictable tracks for flights landing at KNLC. In general the arrival route will be determined enroute to KNLC, based on the current wind direction and the “arrival from” direction.
